Martín Perfecto de Cos (October 1, 1800 – October 1, 1854) was a 19th-century Mexican general. He was born in Veracruz in 1800, the son of an attorney.〔http://www.sanjacinto-museum.org/The_Battle/Commanders/Cos/#Pane2 (accessed June 20, 2015)〕 He became an army cadet at the age of 20.〔http://www.sanjacinto-museum.org/The_Battle/Commanders/Cos/#Pane2 (accessed June 20, 2015)〕 He was married to Lucinda López de Santa Anna, sister of Antonio López de Santa Anna.
